I don't know. We're each of us alone, to be sure. What can you do but hold your hand out in the dark?

Unattended Items
Unattended Items bring events and spaces to life with performance, interactivity and engagement.
Scarlett and Genevieve first met in London in 2015 whilst developing a musical about the end of the world, which hopefully we will return to before the world actually ends! As anyone who has devised a show in a week will tell you, it’s an extreme bonding experience.
WHY
Although we are all theatre makers, we’re also attracted to design and how design can be performative - turning viewers into active participants. Creating invigorating and memorable engagement for our audience is at the core of what we do.
WHAT
Unattended Items thrives on connection. We love to take on a static encounter, like networking with a stranger or signing a wedding guest book, and turn it into a game that creates a heightened moment between people.
Unattended Items offers a diverse range of event and performance services. If you have an idea for a event or project we’d love to hear from you!
HOW
Unattended Items creates novel ways to bring people together, meeting every project with the experience of the participant in mind. We aim to astonish our clients by exceeding expectations and providing solutions that surpass their starting concept.
We work with traditional and experimental mediums to create work that is not only fun but also memorable.
Ui x The Rosemary Branch Theatre
In 2016, Unattended Items was invited take over artistic directorship of The Rosemary Branch Theatre. Over Unattended Items’ three year tenure, they fulfilled their vision to create a sustainable arts space where creatives could grow their practices and audience experience was at the core of every show.
See some highlights of our tenure under ‘Theatre’.
Oscillating between performance and design, Unattended Items aims to disquiet the confines of the ordinary.
